"A healer does not heal you.  A healer is someone who holds space for you while you awaken your inner healer, so you may heal yourself."   Maryam Hasnaa

I am so glad you’re here.

If you love, chances are very high that you will grieve.  It is a human response to the death of a loved one and can be extremely distressing.  It does not only occur in the loss of a loved one.  It is also natural to experience grief with any loss that occurs in our life - relationship breakup; going through a traumatic event; losing our health or career or finances; death of our pet; having a family suffering from a serious illness or accident; losing an asset of sentimental value such as a family home.

Grief can create a lot of pain and suffering and can be very isolating and overwhelming.   Although it is usually an emotional response to loss, it can also have physical, cognitive, behavioral, social, cultural, spiritual, and philosophical dimensions.

Grief is highly individual and can’t be measured, compared, or quantified.  It is unique to the individual and situation.  It can create a lot of pain and suffering and can be very isolating and overwhelming.

You don't have to do it alone.

About me

Hello, I'm Lori-Ann - a Certified Master Grief Coach.

I am originally from a small Northern Ontario town that instilled in me rich small-town values.   My journey through life has brought me wonderful experiences.  It has also put me on a path of recovery, divorce, and the loss of my oldest son Adrian to suicide in 2019.  He was 23 years old.

All of these major life changes put me in clubs I didn't necessarily want to belong to; however, they also launched me on a journey of transformation and gifts.  I am passionate about growing and healing.

Having been brought to my knees and feeling hopeless on more than one occasion, only to emerge stronger; fuels my passion to help others.

I am fluent in both French and English.

I look forward to helping you along YOUR journey from grief to growth.
